Musculoskeletal Integrated Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service

Musculoskeletal Integrated Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service (MICATS) is an integrated service for patients with musculoskeletal (MSK) problems. The team includes a number of specialists, including physiotherapists, extended scope practitioners (in podiatry and physiotherapy), a consultant, and chronic pain management specialists.

This service covers Stafford, Stone, Penkridge, Cannock, Rugeley and Brewood.

Service users are assessed and triaged to the correct health professional for their needs. They will receive necessary treatment, which could include physiotherapy, podiatry or a pain management assessment and treatment along with advice to support their condition.
