MPFT is supporting a new initiative to provide affordable day care for people with dementia and respite for their caregivers.
The new not-for-profit organisation is hosting the first Time Out Club on Wednesday 22nd June 2022, 9.30am, at Elford Village Hall, Church Road Elford. B79 9DA.
People with dementia and their caregivers living in the Lichfield and Tamworth areas of Staffordshire are welcome to attend free of charge and refreshments will be provided. Personal care assistants will also be in attendance.

MPFT became involved when one of the volunteers involved with Dementia Caring attended our Board meeting to share the experience
of his wife's diagnosis of, and treatment for, Alzheimer's disease.
Barry found that face-to-face networking opportunities were few and far between and described a lack of co-ordination between agencies offering support. As an integrated Trust, providing health and care services in the community, MPFT was keen to work with Barry and the other volunteers to help make change happen.
