Lucy Roberts is nominated for the Rising Star of the Year Award and Woman of the Year Award for her work on many IM&T projects, including RiO Mobilisation and RiO Workflow. Lucy has delivered one to one digital support sessions to MPFT staff, developing their confidence in using digital systems and focusing on digital inclusion and equality in line with MPFT’s Digital Strategy.
IT Trainer, Lucy said: “To be nominated means so much to me and shows that my passion to support services, staff members and service users on their patient journey has been noticed by others. MPFT is really proactive in supporting employees to progress and embark on career development opportunities to benefit not only the individual, but to improve the service we provide.
“As a woman working in IT, I feel empowered to make a change and this is why I love my job. We are working alongside front line staff to streamline their processes and to make a difference and that’s very rewarding.”
The awards recognise top-performing women from across the technology space and provide inspiration for younger women looking to build a career in the industry. The Rising Star Award is for 2021's most trailblazing young woman in IT, who has made an exceptionally strong impact in a short time. The Woman of the Year Award will go to the woman most deserving of recognition for her achievements in the tech industry this year.
The awards evening takes place on Tuesday 22 November 2022 in London.
