Partnership between Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Staffordshire County Council recognised at prestigious Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards
During a routine visit of the Care Quality Commission carers expressed confidence in the ward, they had free access to the ward, and nurses were helpful and open. Both carers said they felt included in the decisions on the treatment of their family member.

Earlier this year, one of two wings of the George Bryan Centre was destroyed by fire. The second wing was later temporarily closed, on the grounds of safety.
