The annual Service User and Carer Involvement Celebration Day for Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) is taking place on Wednesday 17th July 2019 at St George’s Hospital, Stafford.

The aim of this event is to recognise and celebrate the significant contribution that patients, service users, carers and volunteers make to the Trust.

The theme of the day is ‘Your Way to Wellness: The Journey to Health and Wellbeing’ and there will be a range of activities and presentations focused on improving mental and physical wellbeing.  These will include belly dancing and a demonstration by ‘Critterish Allsorts’ on the benefits of animal therapy.

Jenny Lench - Involvement Manager at MPFT said; “This is also an opportunity to find out more about how our patients, service users, carers and volunteers take part in joint working with staff on a wide range of projects and activities”.

The event will conclude with the presentation of our Service User and Carer ‘Involvement for Impact’ Awards which recognise participation, learning and contributions to developing and improving services.
