The funding is to support a Ring and Sing programme which offers a regular phone call and singing session for those with dementia and their carers during Covid-19 who would normally attend a Songs for You session.
Project worker Helen Wilson said “We are thankful that Tesco Bags of Help/ Groundworks considered our application for funding to extend our Ring and Sing programme. It will allow us to continue to offer this well-received opportunity to share in music and conversation and provide both care and a sense of connection to our service users and carers. It is a much needed lifeline during this crisis.”
